Author: Yana Toboso
Published Date: 2019-01-22

Yana Toboso is the creator of the wildly popular series BLACK BUTLER which is currently serialized in Square Enix's magazine MONTHLY GFantasy. Her previous work was a single volume entitled RUST BLASTER.

On 14 December 1885-Earl Ciel Phantomhive's tenth birthday-despair was visited upon House Phantomhive in the form of a heinous attack on the family manor. Beckoned by the hatred in the wails of a helpless child, a devil alighted from an undulating purple-black mire. Thus, one story began, even as another ended...Or did it?

Prepare yourself I was shock when I read itIf you were as pissed off as I was about vol 26 then you'll continue being upset This volume is pretty much entirely back story into what happened with the twin and ends with how sebastian and ciel formed a contract. I felt so unsatisfied and disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it's a good continuation from 26 but I was still mortified at the fact the twin is even an existence. Brace yourself for the sour impact.Very dark, we finally learn how Ciel and Sebastian were bound together This is the 27th volume in the Black Butler series and was the darkest and most disturbing volume of the series. It was incredibly well done and I really enjoyed it.Volume 26 left the readers on a huge cliffhanger, this volume explains the backstory behind that. We finally learn the true story behind the death of Ciel’s family and how Ciel ended up bound to Sebastian. This series continues to be amazingly well done, although I will warn this is a very dark book in the series. The illustration is amazingly beautiful and I absolutely love the characters. Learning all the backstory behind Ciel and Sebastian was incredible.Overall I continue to really love this series and this book was an excellent addition to it. I am dying to know what happens next!!!

Title: Legend of Zelda Pdf Breath of the Wild 2019 Wall Calendar
Set off on an epic journey with our hero Link as he embarks on a series of quests to save the Hyrule Kingdom in this 16-month calendar. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild™ 2019 Calendar takes you into the action-packed adventure with breathtaking artwork from the newest addition to the legendary Nintendo® video game series.

2018 is meh. HUGE Zelda fan here. I buy this calendar every year and this time the artwork is rather boring and basic. Lots of character art rather than illustration just pasted over a gradient background. Still, a LoZ fan cannot be without it.Fun way to keep track Awesome nerdy calendar, only down side is that it is way larger than the standard calendars I have had the last few years so I had to move my nail I hang them on up about a foot.Another good thing to say about it is it came with ... It's a calendar. Not much to say about that part. However, the pictures for the months are well picked. They aren't all the generic pictures used in advertisement. Another good thing to say about it is it came with a piece of cardboard inside, keeping it from bending during shipping.

Very Informative I've never written a review for a book before, but I felt compelled to write this one. I have eaten paleo for a year and was never really interested in keto. Once "whole foods keto" or "low carb paleo" started making its way to social media, I became a little intrigued. I have learned so much from this book. The first half is almost like a textbook (in a good way) with SO much information, and then the second half is the meal plans and recipes. I'm following the four-week meal plan provided in the book. I am a major meal prepper and planner and she nailed this, with little notes on what to do each day (make a sauce for the following day, etc). In her shopping lists she also includes a section where it lists items that you likely already have in your kitchen, but should double check before shopping to see if you're running low. How helpful! Very excited to see where the next four weeks takes me and so glad I have this tool to guide me. Thank you, Diane and team!Practical and balanced approach to the Keto diet I have been following Diane Sanfilippo for 4 or 5 years now and have purchased just about every book she has written, so when I heard she was writing a book on the Keto diet I was excited to get her take on it.As you've probably seen there are many books on the Keto diet and each one I've read has helped to further my understanding to this way of eating. I thought I knew more than enough but was surprised at being only 21 pages in that I have actually learned quite a bit.True to Diane's style there are plenty of mouth watering recipes, meal plans and tracker to track your food intake. There are tips for adjusting the diet to suit what is best for YOU. There are considerations for people with autoimmune diseases, neurological conditions, SIBO & IBS, etc.. It really is a wealth of information. So if you are a looking to try Keto for the first time or you have been eating this way for quite awhile, I believe there's something for everyone in this book. This is a guide to doing Keto in a safe and sustainable way with real food. This book is DELICIOUS & Nourishing I have been a long-time supporter of Diane's work. Her honest and genuine approach when it comes to helping and guiding others is inspiring. This book, Keto QuickStart isn't just another Dogmatic Keto cookbook. It's really a navigation tool that brings solid, scientific based knowledge to you in a way that is understandable and applicable to your everyday life. Each chapter you read will have you excited to read the next, and the next, and the next! Once you do get to her meal prep and recipe section you'll be drooling with delight and excited to get started right away. I especially loved the Pumpkin Spice Keto Pancakes and HIGHLY recommend them (I made mine into cute little waffles). So delicious, so satisfying, and incredibly nourishing. I pre-ordered this book the moment I was able to, but I need to note that I was provided with a review copy before the launch, however, I was NOT compensated to leave a review and that the review is my own independent opinion of the book.

Crucible Free Pdf

ISBN: B07J1R9P17
Title: Crucible Pdf A Thriller

In the race to save one of their own, Sigma Force must wrestle with the deepest spiritual mysteries of mankind in this mind-expanding adventure from the number-one New York Times best-selling author, told with his trademark blend of cutting-edge science, historical mystery, and pulse-pounding action.

Arriving home on Christmas Eve, Commander Gray Pierce discovers his house ransacked, his pregnant lover missing, and his best friend's wife, Kat, unconscious on the kitchen floor. With no shred of evidence to follow, his one hope to find the woman he loves and his unborn child is Kat, the only witness to what happened. But the injured woman is in a semicomatose state and cannot speak - until a brilliant neurologist offers a radical approach to "unlock" her mind long enough to ask a few questions.

What Pierce learns from Kat sets Sigma Force on a frantic quest for answers that are connected to mysteries reaching back to the Spanish Inquisition and to one of the most reviled and blood-soaked books in human history - a Medieval text known as the Malleus Maleficarum, the Hammer of Witches. What they uncover hidden deep in the past will reveal a frightening truth in the present and a future on the brink of annihilation and force them to confront the ultimate question: What does it mean to have a soul?

If Stephen King’s Randall Flagg Became a AI, Would Salem’s Witches Get Revenge? Imagine, if you will, that, some day in the future, a descendent of one of those men who persecuted witches of Salem, Massachusetts, has created a computer that can think and reason at such a skill that it is a million times smarter than the smartest human being. What good, or what evil, might that bring forth? In some oblique way, this book strikes me as a not so far-fetched version of a sequel to Stephen King’s ‘The Stand.’ By that I do not mean to state that this features the same sort of characters or plot as my favorite work by the master of horror. Rather, this is a fantasy based upon facts, history and a conjecture about where humanity is headed due to the advances in artificial intelligence.Of course, the actual reality that will come will be wildly different from that imagined by this author, so it may be unwise to fear the future. But, this book takes such a penetrating look at our past that, were it not for the history we did preserve, there are precious few who could have seriously imagined that what our forefathers did do would ever have actually happened. I, for one, will never again look at witchcraft quite the same way I did before cracking open this superb novel.Further, I will never again make snide comments regarding faith healers or ‘good witches.’ It was not merely the novel that has opened my eyes, but it is the information provided by Rollins as an introduction, and as an explanation following the fictional story. Bravo! Now, on with my review…POV: Third person. But, if I dare say, the writer has the main character’s thoughts for us placed in italics, so, one could state that first person is sprinkled into the third person narrative, making for a more compelling and more dynamic novel.BLUSH FACTOR: To be sure, there are a few eff-words. Only six when I checked using the search option. I know a few will shy away from this novel, but, honestly, I don’t recommend that. The story content is just simply too compelling.WRITING & EDITING: Professional as would be expected with the higher list price for a Kindle Edition. I recommend also getting the Audible edition, as it is a first-rate production narrated by Christian Baskous brings all the greatest essence of the writing forward for us to contemplate. This Action-Adventure will dare you to reconsider humanity’s place. In fact, it will have you reconsidering a great deal more than that, but only if you actually read it or listen to the Audible Edition.CLIFFHANGER ENDING: No, but he seems to have left the door open for a sequel. PLEASE, bring us another novel with this premise.Excerpt:‘…Bearing silent witness from the computer lab, Mara had heard the alarming words of the man who led the attack: Xénese must never be. It is an abomination, born of sorcery and filth.Breathing hard, she stared over to the second black case on the floor. It lay open, its inner padding cradling a sphere that Carly jokingly called the soccer ball. It was not a bad analogy. The device was indeed the size of a regulation ball. Similarly, hexagonal plates covered its surface. But rather than made up of stitched leather, the device consisted of alternating hexagonal plates of titanium and diamond-hard sapphire crystal. In a moment of hubris, she had named the device Xénese, the Galician word for Genesis.Still, the name fit, considering her goal.To bring forth life from the cold vacuum of nothingness. Was it any wonder such an ambition attracted the wrong attention? She again pictured the attackers’ robes and blindfolds, heard their justification for murder, ripped from the Bible: Suffer not a witch to live.Anger steadied her hand. Charlotte and the others died because of Mara’s work, but she would not let their deaths be in vain. Determination spread through her. Up until now, she had been running scared, overwhelmed by grief. But she was done running. Only now did she feel secure enough to check on the status of her work. Still, a final worry remained. In her panicked haste to extract Xénese and its hard drives from the university’s Milipeia Cluster, she worried she may have irreparably damaged the program.Please. It’s Christmas morning. Grant me this one gift.Over the next hour, she daisy-chained the drives encoded with her program modules into her laptop. She checked each one and sighed with relief when everything seemed intact. Next, she powered up what Carly called “the soccer ball.” As electricity flowed through a conditioner into the device, its tiny sapphire windows brightened with an azure glow, marking the successful ignition of the tiny lasers inside.“Let there be light,” she whispered with a sad smile, remembering how often Dr. Carson had used that line from the Book of Genesis—and her mentor’s warning the day before their test run.Rollins, James. Crucible (Sigma Force Novels) . William Morrow. Kindle Edition.BOTTOM LINEThe author, in an afterword, claims there is more truth than fiction in this book. What is scary, for me, is that he may be correct. Although I do frequently read this author’s works, I’ve never really placed him so highly on my list of favorite writers. Until now. This is THAT enjoyable and stimulating. I only wish Rollins had kept this story going on for another thousand pages. No worry, I do expect a sequel…Five stars out of five. Well, actually 4-1/2, as it is too short.I am striving to produce reviews that help you find books that you want, or avoid books that you wish to avoid. With your help, my improvement will help you and me improve book reviews on Amazon. Together, you and I can build a great customer review process that helps everybody. Will you join me? It is people such as you who have helped me improve over the years. I'm still learning, and I have a great deal yet to learn. With your help, I'll improve every day.One request: Be respectful and courteous in your comments and emails to me. I will do likewise with you.Thank you so much for indicating if this review helped you, or for your comment. for indicating if this review helped you, or for your comment. Not even close to his best I automatically order every Rollins novel to be delivered to my Kindle upon publication. One more of this caliber and I will require a sample first. While the premise was intriguing, the excess repetition rapidly became boring and the conclusion obvious. I understand the convention he was using in the development of Eve's intelligence, but a couple of examples would have sufficed.Oh well, an occasional disappointment is inevitable. This is the first of his novels not to rate five stars from me so he is still on auto delivery for now.~~Intense Action/Scence/Historical Mystery~~ For once, I can agree with the blurb for this novel. Normally the blurb does not describe the text accurately for me. This was spot on and it is a heart pounding novel of intense action, a historical mystery dating back to the Spanish Inquisition and science concerning Artificial Intelligence. The medieval text 'The Hammer of Witches' (1487) is delineated in depth and the reader is introduced to the world of witchcraft. For me, my knowledge was negligible until I read these portions. The action throughout is intense and does not stop from the beginning until the end. My advice is to buckle up your seat belt and hang on for the ride....The Artificial Intelligence portion of the novel is indeed mind boggling. I fear that we are almost there. I had never heard of the AI Eurisko previously nor his inventor Lenat. This was ten years ago and I can only imagine how far this science has advanced in a decade.Sigma Force certainly had a mystery on their hands and Commander Grey Pierce rises to the occasion with the team. Loved Mara and her contributions to the science portion. Wow, just wow.....The entire novel is incredible and the plot is well defined. In addition, the characters were fleshed out well My goodness, what a ride for me on a bitterly cold day in Vermont.Just superlative writing and am looking forward to others written by this author. Most highly recommended.

The Tipping Point Download

ISBN: 0316346624
Title: The Tipping Point Pdf How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference

Malcolm Gladwell is also the author of the #1 bestselling Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking. He was a reporter for the Washington Post from 1987 to 1996, working first as a science writer and then as New York City bureau chief. Since 1996, he has been a staff writer for The New Yorker.

The tipping point is that magic moment when an idea, trend, or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire. Just as a single sick person can start an epidemic of the flu, so too can a small but precisely targeted push cause a fashion trend, the popularity of a new product, or a drop in the crime rate. This widely acclaimed bestseller, in which Malcolm Gladwell explores and brilliantly illuminates the tipping point phenomenon, is already changing the way people throughout the world think about selling products and disseminating ideas.

quick dip into social science research Some may say “The Tipping Point” belabors the obvious, which is that things change, sometimes overnight. True, too true, but so what? Malcolm Gladwell, the master of popularized social research, makes us care about the mechanisms of seemingly abrupt shifts in the course of human events—such as why William Dawes’ midnight ride to warn that the British were coming didn’t start the American Revolution, but Paul Revere’s did. Turns out Revere’s personality helped his news galvanize patriots to pick up their rifles, while Dawes’ identical cry made people turn over and go back to sleep. Revere had two of the three traits Gladwell identifies as necessary to the spread of social trends: he was a Connector and a Maven. Revere had a vast rolodex of acquaintances in colonial Massachusetts and he knew everything there was to know about the nascent independence movement. He set the scene for resistance to the onmarching British, and a few local men of Gladwell’s third type, the Persuaders, finished the job of rallying the militias of Concord and Lexington. Gladwell is adept at explaining the academic research that led to such popular ideas as “six degrees of separation” and relating such social science experimentation to his overall theme of how change happens. He goes deeply into the discoveries about learning that led to the success of “Sesame Street” and “Blue’s Clues”—these shows’ producers used the idea of “stickiness” to instill basic principles and values in pre-schoolers. The “broken windows” theory of policing gets a thorough explainer, including a side trip into how do-gooding seminarians can allow themselves to avoid being good Samaritans. Advertising is one of the great accelerators of trends, and Gladwell marshals a few Madison Ave. case studies to show how commercials tip us into parting with our hard-earned cash. Absolutely painless learning is what Gladwell offers, with a side benefit of greater self-awareness.Pop Science and Psychology Gone Awry I read "blink" and "The Tipping Point" together over the span of a week. Both books were very interesting and touched on similar insights into human behavior and psychology. "The Tipping Point" was similar in style to "blink" in that it presented a small handful of themes over and over to prove the premise the author initially laid out at the beginning of the book. Which is, of course, very convenient for the author. Gladwell essentially has a theory for why cool fads and trends catch on, and in writing this book he appears to have scoured a mixed bag of scientific and non-scientific psychological studies and historical observations to support his theory. The problem with this method is that its not the best way to prove the validity of a theory. One of the most excruciating passages in the book is when Gladwell tries to argue that former ABC news anchor Peter Jennings successfully swayed voters with his facial expressions in the early 1980's. A study apparently suggested that Jennings made favorable facial expressions while introducing stories about Regan but had a neutral face when introducing stories about Walter Mondale, and this caused viewers to change their voting habits. The author seriously tries to make his case solely on the fact that post-election ABC viewers were more likely to say that they voted for Regan than Mondale. It never even occurs to the author (even for a fleeting moment) that maybe ABC news viewers were/are more conservative as a group and thus predisposed to vote for a conservative candidate anyway. The sentence "Because serial killers drink milk, milk drinking must cause people to become serial killers" is a classic example of a Gladwell "proof."Taken as a whole, this book is a bit scary because its a likable best seller, but its unfortunately a sort of misguided Fox News or USA Today version of what could be a very interesting discussion. I hope more books will be written in this area, because it truly is a realm that needs more analysis.
