Love it Have read all these books and they are my favorite law inspired series. May have tireless some till the next.where did lescroart go ? i had relegated the previous lescoart novel to the junk heap. i had hoped thay was a one-off . unfortunately less than half way through this one it appears not to be the case. it reads like amateur hour; lame narrative, lame dialogue; caricature characters and silly plot . i dont know where lescroart went but its the end of the road for me .Not for me I've liked other Hardy books, but this one was not for me. A mix of a decent criminal story and too much political opinion. The author says he wanted to tie up loose ends for the cast of characters. There was a lot of that and it kept getting in the way of the story. Disappointing.
