Problem is there are many sloppy errors and typos which is a shame because you begin to question the credibility of the author. Even one or two typos are bad but when you start to see them every other page it gets annoying when you spend over $20 for a book. This is not a high school book report. It’s not difficult to fix these errors!If you only can buy one book on real estate — buy this one! This is THE BOOK to have! Excellent reference for beginner investors/rehabbers/flippers/landlords/homeowners, great for more seasoned professionals. It is packed with tons of information on how different parts of the house work, life expectancy of mechanical systems and materials, and price ranges for specific jobs. The authors give you countless tips on how to research problems and issues, what the expected price range might be and even how to find the right contractors for the job. Not sure if there's anything like this book currently on the market. Well written and easy to read.I keep going back to pull information from this book all the time. Highly recommend to read this along with it’s companion book "The Book on Flipping Houses: How to Buy, Rehab, and Resell Reside".
